Responsibilities

  • Capture, document, analyze, and refine business, functional, and non-functional requirements from clients and business stakeholders.
  • Lead requirements discovery sessions and workshops, interpreting complex information and structures, including regulations, business processes, and client environments.
  • Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, translating approved business needs into well-defined epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Ensure stakeholder alignment and formal sign-off to support successful delivery, testing, and business acceptance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, development teams, and QA teams, guiding them throughout the implementation process to ensure a shared understanding and accurate translation of requirements.
  • Create and maintain clear, structured technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including release notes, impact assessments, user manuals, and guidance materials.
  • Translate approved business requirements into solution designs and implement them within calculation models and client-specific configurations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes on software functionality, business processes, calculation logic, integrations, and downstream systems.
  • Support clients and internal teams by addressing product-related questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, anticipate client needs, and recommend enhancements to products and services.
  • Participate in occasional travel within Europe for on-site client meetings and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within a software or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and perseverance in solving complex business and technical challenges.
  • Experience creating clear, structured technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience creating process flows, diagrams, and visual models, including UML use case diagrams.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, preferably Agile and Scrum.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R would be considered an advantage.
